There are three new mobile phones T629, T619 and T509s announced by Samsung and T-Mobile. The phones support T-Mobile's myFaves service. This service gives users the possibility to have five photos or icons on the home screen of a myFaves-enabled phone and also have unlimited nationwide calling to those five 'Faves.

Sony Ericsson presented special silver versions of the K800 and K790 Cyber-shot camera phones. The phone is a model used by James Bond in the latest movie, Casino Royale. The silver K800 and K790 Cyber-shot phones are equipped with Bond wallpapers, music ringtones and the full video movie trailer.

The style of the silver K800 / K790 phones is cool and sophisticated.

Qualcomm's MediaFLO mobile TV technology is under the tests by Sprint. Sprint Vue is known as a new mobile TV test but without any information about the technology. MediaFLO is a multicast standard that is being built-out by Qualcomm.

Gina Lombardi, president of MediaFLO USA , reported: "MediaFLO USA offers operators a dedicated multicast system that enables them to deliver large amounts of high-quality mobile content to subscribers without having to build out and maintain their own networks.

The new Mo1 cell phone , is a phone for kids aged 6 and 12 years. The phone is a good thing for both parents and children by helping parents teach their kids to use the cell phones.

The phone has two buttons to call mother and father, apart from call keys. Parents can limit the number of incoming messages and calls by making corresponding settings on the phone.

The Imaginarium Mo1 cell phone costs €59 (about $75), the phone is due to be out in December 2006.

The B600 launched by Samsung is a new 10-megapixel camera phone that is 6 mm thinner and 10 g lighter than the 7-megapixel camera phone (SCH-V770) and by combining mobile TV capability in Satellite standard differs from its previous megapixel camera phones. Users can watch live TV in crisp picture through Satellite DMB function.

The B600 includes such functions as an MP3 player, business card reader, and 128 polyphonic sounds.

Sony Ericsson W810i has been set going by Cingular. The box holds an adapter to connect regular headphones (3.5mm).

Word leaked out that T-Mobile has introduced something new -“stick together” tagline campaign.

Application myFaves is a new set of calling plans starting from $39.99 per month. The idea of the new plan gives the opportunity of unlimited calls to five numbers indifferent to any wireless or wireline operator they are on. There are two formats: individual and family one.

A group of mobile manufacturers, network operators, suppliers, recyclers, consumer and environmental organisations, led by Nokia, has committed to improve the environmental performance of mobile phones.

The members of this group were Motorola, Panasonic Mobile Communications, France Telecom/Orange, Vodafone, TeliaSonera AB, Intel, Epson, Spansion and Umicore, and environmental experts from the WWF, the Finnish Environmental Institute, the UK's Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and the European Consumers' Organisation (BEUC).

Nokia today announced that it is establishing its new headquarters for Latin America in Miami, with region-wide functions such as sales and marketing to be based at the new premises.

Samsung today announced that it is now shipping 1 and 2 gigabyte (GB) samples of moviNAND - an embedded combination of NAND flash memory, a multimedia card (MMC) controller and onboard firmware - to leading manufacturers of mobile products.
