Google Nexus 6 spreads to six new markets

The six European markets join a select list of 15 states around the globe where the Motorola-made Lollipop phablet rolled out a little earlier. There’s the US, UK, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

In total, 21 countries, or three less than Nexus 9’s reach thus far. Which is not to say the HTC-produced tablet is better or more popular.

Verizon Nexus 6 Confirmed

The stock-powered Android phablet has been a rather difficult “creature” to spot – where even Google CFO Patrick Pichette did admit last month that they were unable to obtain enough inventory in order to cover demand for the device.

The Nexus 6 can be considered to be a success in this sense, and it seems that Verizon subscribers can hope to see it arrive soon.

After all, that is what it looks like through a leaked marketing material that points to such a possibility.

The Nexus 6 is ready for sale in the UK from both Giffgaff and O2.Giffgaff is offering an unlocked Midnight Blue Nexus 6 for £499 or £22.85 monthly for 24 months.O2 has the Nexus 6 for £479.99 outright or £38 a month for the device and a plan which gives you unlimited calling, texting and 2GB of data.The Nexus 6 should be available from other UK retailers soon.

Nexus 6 gets an iFixit teardown treatment

Google Nexus 6 is officially here and this means it’s time for the folks at iFixit to get their hands on the device and tear its components apart.Starting with the back cover, there are no screws involved to open the back cover of the device so the folks at iFixit ended up with picks to pry open the back cover of the device which comes with little adhesive.There’s a big 3,220 mAh underneath to power the device featuring an inductive charging coil.

Sprint’s take on the Nexus 6 can now be purchased from Best Buy stores across the country. You’ll have to actually go into the store to grab one however as Best Buy isn’t shipping Nexus 6’s out yet.Keep in mind that stock is limited by location, so be sure to call your local store before changing into pants and leaving the house.Best Buy is offering the Midnight Blue 32GB Nexus 6 for Sprint with a price of $249.

Sprint’s Nexus 6 is now available from Best Buy for $199 with a new two-year contract.Well, the Nexus 6 is usually $299 with a contract, so grabbing it from Best Buy will save you $100. The Nexus 6 is a whopping $699 off-contract. We’re still not sure if the carrier variants are going to be locked, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if that happens.Normally Nexus devices are about as clean of carrier branding as you can get, but it looks like things might have changed this time around.

The Nexus 6 is now available from Sprint for $299 with a new two-year contract. If you’d like to pay in payments, that’s totally cool with Sprint; you could also sign up for Easy Pay and pay $29 a month for $24 months.So far only the Midnight Blue Nexus 6 will be available from Sprint. A shipping date is surprisingly absent, but expect to get you Nexus 6 within a few days of ordering.

Nexus 6 AT&T Preorders Begin November 12th

AT&T will begin preorders for the Nexus 6 tomorrow, November 12th. The Googly handset will cost $249 with a new two-year contract or $682.99 outright.The Nexus 6 will also be available for purchase using one of AT&T’s Next payment plans for $0 down and varying monthly payments.So far AT&T is only mentioning the Midnight Blue Nexus 6, so there’s no telling if the carrier will sell the Cloud White version in the future.
