The new Android phone Samsung Nexus S was just announced for AT&T.

The handset features 4-inch 800 x 480 display, 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.  Because it’s a Nexus devise,  Android updates will appear  first to this smartphone.

Soon you’ll be able l find it at AT&T stores for just $99.

We have leaked information about the upcoming Google Nexus 3 device appearance. The most interesting fact is that Samsung will be making this particular handset. As we got to know, it will be featuring a Samsung AMOLED HD display and the production will start in late 2011.

Those facts were given by a guy, who is managing Samsung Mobile’s Twitter account in Romania.

It seems that Amazon is all deals these days and their latest offering would be the Nexus S, priced at $49.99 for a two year contract for new Sprint customers or $99.99 for existing customers that wish to upgrade.

Wirefly is now selling the Nexus S 4G for only $99.99 for as long as you sign up for a two-year contract under Sprint.

The Nexus S 4G boasts of being the World’s first phone to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and also the fourth 4G smartphone to be launched under Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network.

The device features a 1GHz Hummingbird for its processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED Contour Display With Curved Glass Screen, 16GB on-board memory, 512MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera with video and flash, and VGA front-facing camera.

After the Nexus S 4G recent launch, Sprint has already begun rolling out the first software update for the device.

But sadly, it is just a maintenance update.

The update arrives as software version GRJ22 and brings a few fixes.

Sprint has officially released the Nexus S 4G. The handset comes priced at $199.99 with a two-year agreement and also requires the $10 per month “Premium Data” add-on.

Best Buy now lists two different Nexus S units on its website. The “old version” is made for T-Mobile’s 3G network while the new one, also known as Nexus S 4G, supports Sprint’s WiMAX and CDMA network.

You can pre-order the unit now paying $200 upfront, while at the same time committing on a two-year agreement.

There is still no info about pricing, but it seems like customers can pre-order the device with a $50 deposit.

Specs of the device are identical with Nexus S, the only difference is in its thickness and mass.

Sprint website has revealed (and later pulled back) some details on the upcoming Nexus S 4G smartphone.

The device will come as a “fully integrated Google Voice” handset.

Also, the Nexus S 4G will be packing Gingerbread and have support for both 4G and 3G speeds.
