FCC has recently approved the new Nokia 5230, which apparently will be heading to T-Mobile, judging by the battery size (BL-5J) and support for AWS 3G bands. The phone has a decent list of features, which includes:

• Symbian S60 5th edition OS;
• AWS 3G bands support;
• 3.2" touchscreen supporting 16.7M colors;
• Accelerometer and proximity sensor;
• 7 different color combinations;
• 70MB internal memory;
• microSD slot (up to 16GB);

Nokia N900 has recently started shipping to Europe, the Middle-East, Russia and North America. It won't be available from carriers and is selling unlocked.

T-Mobile has recently released the new Nokia 3711. It is a basic clamshell handset, announced in early October, which features:

• 3G data connectivity;
• 2.0 megapixel camera;
• Bluetooth support;
• GPS with Nokia Ovi Maps;
• Web browser;
• Media player;
• IM and email support

The Nokia 3711 is now available for $69.

According to NewEgg, the new Nokia N900 will be available in the U.S. starting November 14. But don't worry if you live in Europe. Pocket-link reported that this Maemo 5 device will be making its European début just two days after the U.S. release, on November 16. The official prices are $649 for the U.S. and 599 EUR for Europe.

Nokia's new N97 mini is now available for purchase throigh retail stores. The phone runs on the new software version 2.0 and costs EUR 450 before taxes and subsidies. Also, existing N97 users can download the said update from the Nokia Software Update website (http://www.nokia.com/softwareupdate), which will be followed by a wide range of country and operator versions over the coming weeks.

Who could have guessed that Nokia N900 is capable of running Windows 3.11. Useless - check, cool - not really, but it proves how tweaking-friendly this Maemo-powered device is. Watch the video below:

Nokia has confirmed that it will be shutting down N-Gage gaming service next year. Games that are already published will be available for download and purchase till September 2010, and the  N-Gage community web site will remain open until the end of 2010. No new games will be published, and the existing ones will be moved to Ovi Store once the service is terminated.

Owners of the Nokia N97 can now download and update their handset's firmware to v2.0. The update is now available for free download all over the world. Sorry, 5800 users, the luck was not on your side.
