Those who are waiting for the Nokia's flagship Maemo-packing N900 to arrive will have to wait a little longer. The October release date was moved to November. Not a big deal, just a couple weeks in plus. The device will be fully compatible with T-Mobile's 3G network and will cost around $650 – $700.

The recently released firmware update for the Nokia's flagship cameraphone, the N86, adds support for several new features. The latest v20 build adds face detection, red eye reduction, improved video quality, and a host of bug fixes and tweaks. In important update I must add. All willing can download it now via the Nokia Software Update service.

T-Mobile customers can now get the new Nokia XpressMusic 5130. This S40-based monoblock style phone is currently available for $30 after rebates with a new 2-year contract, and has the following features:

Good news for Nokia fans: the company has sent out a notice to several US distributors, acording to which its first Maemo handset should hit Nokia distribution centers on September 27th. If everything goes as palnned, we will see the first N900's being shipped to customers in the very beginning of next month. Nokia came up with yet another low-end handset, the 2220 slide. It offers only basic functionality, and should be available in a total of 6 different colors, in the fourth quarter of the year at a retail price of about $125 (EUR 86) with taxes. Here are some of its features:

Introducing the latest luxury handset in the Nokia's 88xx series - the Erdos (whatever that means). The phone comes in a slick polished aluminum casing, and looks to be the most high-end Nokia 88xx series device to date. Well, I guess the price will be astronomical, too...
