Nokia 2608 is the latest CDMA phone, announced by company. Basic features include:

• voice memo recording;
• speaker phone;
• FM radio.

Nokia 2608 is presented in 3 different color schemes: fuchsia with a pink stripe, silver with a green stripe, and black with a blue stripe.

The phone will be available in Q1 2009.

A new SDK for the Nokia's Series 40 6th Edition has been released. It will allow developers and network operators create new applications and services. The Series 40 6th Edition focuses on:

• Nokia WebKit Open Source Browser for a complete web experience;
• Adobe Flash Lite 3.0 for vivid yet mellow content for mobile phones;

As expected, Rogers has released the Noki E71 yesterday. It is available for order now through telesales and is priced at $99.99 CAD, including a 3-year contract with a  $45+ worth voice/data plan.

And even if you don't like the E71, there's always the recently released BlackBerry Curve 8900 at your disposal.

The Nokia new N85 is a cheaper alternative for those, who don't can't afford to speng big bux on the N96. The handset is now available for pre-order at Amazon, and will appear in stock on December 6th. The phone will cost you $556, and if you wonder, the MSRP of $1200 looks to be indicated mistakenly.

Nokia has issued a new firmware update v110.07.127 for its E71-2 NAM handset.

This build will improve the device's overall stability, and will update Nokia Email, Mail For Exchange and Nokia Maps applications.

Before you apply the update don't forget to backup your data.

If you were planning to get yourself a touchscreen Nokia 5800, we'd like to inform you that, unless you already know, the handset is now available (or almost available) in the following countries: Russia, Spain, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Finland. The price remains unknown at the moment, but it shouldn't be too high anyway.

Nokia has introduced today its new N96 Bruce Lee Edition in Hong Kong. This custom version of the company's all-in-one smartphone comes with an action figure of the famous actor, and costs 8,788 Chinese Yuan (about $1,286), but unfortunately will be available only in Hong Kong.
