Last week Nokia E63 made a surprise appearance at the Symbian smartphone show. It even got pictured side by side with the current E71. Judging from this we can assume that the phone is nearing its oficial release.

AT&T has released the Nokia 2600, a new entry-level cell phone we mentioned earlier on our site. The device comes in red or black and is available now for $150.00 sans contract or for free.99 on a 2-year contract.

Features include:

• VGA camera;
• Bluetooth 2.0;
• Speakerphone;
• MP3 ringtones;
• AT&T's mobile email and instant messaging;
• MEdia Net support for web browsing;

Nokia has recently announced its smallest Bluetooth headset yet, the BH-804. The device measures 42 x 13.6 x 6 mm and weighs 7.2g.

Its features include DSP support for back ground noise cancellation, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, two buttons for call management and volume contro, a desktop charger and a neck strap. Availability has been announced for the fourth quarter of 2008 without any pricing details.

Nokia's new 2228 phone is nothing to look at.

A basic CDMA handset with a 1.3Mpix camera, integrated multimedia player, support for tethering and a LED indicator for incoming messages is all we could highlight here.

Expect it to appear anywhere during this quarter.

A couple of spy shots of the supposed Nokia E63 have leaked in the Web today. Fresh rumors indicate that there will be three models of the phone available: the E63-1 for Europe, the E63-2 w/o a camera but more memory and the E63 for America. Speaking about specs, these are the rumored ones, but are real enough to be considered.

As of today Cricket offers the entry-level Nokia 1606 CDMA phone with suport for AWS networks for $130.

Nokia N810 WiMAX edition was revealed long ago, and now some user has managed to get his hands on the unit, and even somehow coonected it to Chicago’s unfinished XOHM WiMAX network. The device is currently available on the Nokia's USA store for $443 after a $50 automatic discount.

The Nokia N79 was first seen back at CTIA, and has been approved by the FCC today. We expect the North American launch in the near future.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic been approved by the FCC yesterday and will be available worldwide in Q4 2008 for 279 EUR before taxes and subsidies. According to Reuters, the first Nokia S60 5th edition touchscreen phone will be sold in India, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia and Spain by end of this year. Other markets will get it in 2009.
