FCC approved the new UMA-capable clamshell of the Finnish manufacturer Nokia after it was officially announced in Amsterdam , during the Nokia World Show .

Well, the new Nokia 6086 phone is basically a WiFi/UMA-capable version of the 6085, and it has Bluetooth, mediocre displays and VGA camera and world roaming thanks to quad-band GSM support.

By hearsay Cingular is going to launch the Nokia N75 . The N75 will be the first N-Series device available directly from a US carrier. These N-Series phones are quite powerful, and Nokia doesn't even call them phones, but call them a "mobile computer". Unfortunately the device supports only UMTS.

The list of features N75 possesses is:

• S60 3rd Edition (Symbian OS)
• Quad-band GSM + EDGE + UMTS (3G)
• Smallish size: 95 x 52 x 20mm

Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Nokia and Yahoo! extended their partnership to offer Yahoo! branded services including Yahoo! Mail and Messenger on Nokia's wide range of mobile phones operating on the Series 40 platform. Yahoo! services will initially be available on the newly announced Nokia 6300, the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic and the Nokia 5200. Moving forward these services and the ability to synchronise Yahoo! contacts, tasks and calendar on the PC and phone will be added to an even wider range of Nokia's Series 40 devices.

Nokia 8800 is coming out with new special editions. At the beginning was The Gold Edition Nokia 8800 Phone, with a 24 karat skin as well as special charging station. Later on the Nokia 8800 Aston Martin Limited Edition, which was just the 8800 with the Aston Martin logo. No wonder that Nokia 8800 Phone Wins Red Dot Design Award, as it has a nice stainless steel and mineral glass design.

A month ago Nokia announced the N75 and now the FCC approved it. N75 a clamshell phone supports only American UMTS 3G frequencies (850 and 1900 MHz) so it is aimed for the States. FCC site display images that clearly show the Cingular logo all over the N75 as when it is opened as well as when it is closed.

Verizon Wireless is going to launch the Nokia 2366i designed and produced by Nokia and not Pantech. Nokia not often launches CDMA phone and as a result of the breakup of a partnership with Sanyo they are going to be more rarely.

Having Nokia E61 and Nokia E62 devices mobile users can now access Oracle® Applications from, as Nokia announced its certification and availability of several Oracle® mobile enterprise applications on the Nokia E61 and Nokia E62.
