FCC Approves Nokia E66

FCC has approved a new Nokia business-class slider called the E66.

This quad-band GSM/EDGE handset will be available very soon in three variants, one of which will sport North American 850/1900 3G band, the other will have 2100 for Europe, and the last - 850 for Australia.

Nokia XpressMusic 5310 from T-Mobile

T-Mobile has added the new Nokia 5310 to its XpressMusic lineup.

It is a stylish candybar music phone, very thin (just 9.9 mm), and equipped with a QVGA display, 2Mpix camera, EDGE radio, microSD slot, and most importantly - a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It will be available in black with your choice of purple, orange, or red accents starting May 28 for $49.

Nokia to Launch N78 in the Near Future

The preparation on the official site has finished, and everything is ready for the release of the anticipated Nokia N78 smartphone, which will likely take place in a couple of weeks.

The N78 was introduced back in February at MWC 2008 event along with the N96 model, and is definitely a phone that is worth every penny spent on it. The estimated price is $550 before taxes.

A Couple of T-Mobile Phones Delayed

Some sources are reporting that some of the T-Mobile’s upcoming phones are delayed or even cancelled.

This includes the Nokia’s 5310 and 5610 Xpress Music handsets, delayed until early June and early July respectively, and the Motorola Z6w, expected to appear on June 23rd, which has probably been cancelled due to early testing issues.

Have you ever heard of iPerformer? Most likely not...

Judging by what some rumors are saying, this is the possible name of the Nokia's iPhone clone that we've first seen last August at GoPlay. There's no official info about the devise yet, only suppositions, but as much as we know its rumored features are as following: wide touchscreen, NaviScroll, QWERTY keypad, GPS, FM radio, FM transmitter, WiFi, Bluetooth, TV out, and a Web cam.

FCC Approves Nokia 6210 Navigator

Nokia 6210 Navigator has passed the FCC hurdle.

The phone is basically the same as its predecessor, the 6110 Navigator, but has a better 3.2Mpix camera with dual-LED flash, Wi-Fi and runs the new version of Symbian S60 OS (3.2). Expect the 6210 Navigator to hit Nokia's Flagship stores in New York and Chicago later this the year.

No word on carrier partners as of yet.

Here's a fresh rumor: Nokia's new E71 smartphone will probably be released on May 8th in the U.S.

It will feature a slim body, 3.5G data support, GPS, Wi-Fi, a camera with autofocus and a full QWERTY keyboard.

Pricing and carrier details are unknown yet. We'll tell you more, once we know it...

i-mode-enabled Nokia 6124 classic Launched in Taiwan

Apparently NTT DoCoMo has licensed the Far EasTone Telecommunications to offer its i-mode service in Taiwan.

The latter has also partnered with Nokia to bring the service on a customized version of the 3G Nokia 6124 classic smartphone.

This is the first Nokia handset compatible i-mode.

Some of the phone's features include: S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 OS, HSDPA support, a QVGA display, and a 2Mpix camera.

Spanish Nokia Online Store Unveiled Nokia N78 in Pearl White

Nokia's online store for Spain has a Nokia N78 in pearl white color.

However, the device is not available for order yet, but the price is there - 419 Euro.

The Nokia N78 has integrated A-GPS with free Nokia Maps, WLAN and high-speed HSPDA 3G connectivity, a 3.2Mpix camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and microSD card support.
