Briefly: Rogers Wireless announced they will introduce the Nokia N95 in Canada on May 2nd.
We're positive this won't be the 8GB model, but the latter will surely be released as well after a short period of time.

Nokia has unveiled three new mid-range handsets - the 6600 fold, 6600 slide, and 3600 slide.
The first two share the same model number, but have different features. All phones will be available in the third quarter of 2008. Specifications and prices are listed below.

It's been a while since we've last heard about Nokia's E-series handsets.
Well, a couple of live photos of two series representatives, E71 and E66, have just surfaced today. Check them out.
Both have a QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2Mpix camera. Also, according to some speculations E71 should feature WiFi, 3G HSDPA, and GPS support when it launches.

Starting today, the Nokia Music Store is accessible for music lovers in Australia.
Owners of the Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N81 8GB and the N82 smartphones will be able to purchase songs for 1.70 Australian dollars per track and albums from AU $17.00 and download them directly on their device. PC downloads are also available, and cost AU $10 per month for unlimited access.
Users can synchronize the music collection between the PC and a mobile via Windows Media Player 11.

Nokia introduced two new members of the XpressMusic line-up.
- The first is the HSDPA-enabled 5320 model, which features dedicated music and N-Gage gaming keys, a 3.5-mm headphone jack, up to 24-hours of play time, up to 8GB of expandable storage, and a "Say and Play" voice controlled playlist. It costs €220 (or $351).
- The second one is the cheaper 5220 model.

Nokia N95 8GB received a new firmware update v20.0.016, which allows for automatic screen rotation.
The new function is based on the device's in-built accelerometers, the fact that makes us wonder: why didn't they add this feature in the first place? Other updates include Wi-Fi and browser improvements.
The upgrade will be available first for the Euro-spec N95-2, followed by the N95-4 in the near future.

It should be available in a couple of
weeks in the UK for the same price as the existing variant.

Nokia has revealed its first NFC-enabled (Near Field Communications) 3G cell phone, the 6212 Classic.
For those who forgot or didn't know, NFC is a wireless technology developed by Nokia that provides easy interconnectivity between the two devices and allows for fast and convenient data interchange. The handset should be available for 200 EUR in Europe and Asia in the Q3 2008.
