Nokia has just introduced a new N-series multimedia handset available in two variants: N81 and N81 8GB version.

Both models look great, come with a large screen and are packed with various multimedia features, including:

Nokia announced its new Internet service brand, called Ovi (http://www.ovi.com).

Ovi means "Door" in Finnish, and will be a gateway to Nokia services, like Nokia Music Store, Nokia Maps, and N-Gage games.

It will also offer consumers easy access to their existing social network, communities and content.

At last, the 8GB version of Nokia N95 multimedia computer has been officially announced. 

8GB capacity allows users to store up to 20 hours of video or around 6000 songs in the handset's internal memory. In rest the device comes with pretty much the same features as the previous version, including 5Mpix camera with Carl Zeiss optics, integrated A-GPS, support for WLAN and HSDPA, and a 2.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range wireless technology that enables the communication between mobile devices over a short distance.

It operates at 13.56MHz frequency, provides fast data transfer speeds (up to 424Kbps) and is compatible with other wireless technologies, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Nokia, the world's largest mobile device manufacturer, and Microsoft, a global leader in online communications and communities, have joined together to provide customers with a new suite of Windows Live services specifically designed for Nokia devices.

Starting today Nokia customers in eleven countries with compatible S60 devices can download the new suite enabling access to Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Contacts and Windows Live Spaces.

Matsushita will cover the direct costs related to the product advisory on Nokia-branded BL-5C batteries.
