Today Nokia has officially unveiled its two new handsets, the E72 and 5530 XpressMusic at the company's Connection 09 event in Singapore.

The E72 is a successor to the popular E71, and includes a 5Mpix camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, integrated compass, 10.2Mbps HSDPA support, and an optical navigation pad; all for €350 (about $489) when it's released in the third quarter of this year.

Nokia's has released firmware updates for its E75 and E90 handsets, bumping the versions to 110.48.125 and 400.34.93, respectively. The company didn't publish any official change logs, but you can be sure the devices are now faster, more stable, and have some updated apps and new features on board.

You can update your handset through Nokia Software Updater, but don't forget to backup your data before proceeding.

The price hasn'r been announced yet, but expect it to be high.

Amazon has recently moved the date of shipment for the Nokia N97 from June 25th to June 30th. We don't know the cause of the delay, but since first-party preorders aren't expected to ship until July, you'll still be ahead of the crowd when the phone arrives to your doorstep.

Update: Oh, pardon, I guess this is old news. The date has been changed back to June 25th.

Nokia’s Nseries fans rejoice! The North American version (NAM) of the Nokia N97 has been released in the US, and is available now in Nokia’s flagship stores in Chicago and New York for $699 unlocked and contract-free. If you want the White Nokia N97 NAM variant, you’ll have to order it through the Nokia’s website.

As you probably know, the Nokia's flagship smartphone, N97, will soon be available in North America and Europe. Today we have a confirmed release date of the UK launch along with the pricing - June 18 for £499 (about $821). In a week, on June 26th the handset will appear at Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, and 3, and will be available at an unsubsidized price for those who can't wait for the price to drop due to the contract (or simply want it unlocked).
