NVIDIA SHIELD tablet is shipping to customers in the U.S. and Canada starting today.The device is packed with all sorts of awesome specs, including the NVIDIA K1 mobile processor. The Tegra K1 has 192 cores at its disposal, and supports GRID Butt Streaming, PC Streaming and is the first Android tablet to feature Twitch support. Storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.The WiFi 16GB version is currently available for purchase, with the 32GB LTE/WiFi version coming soon.

A tablet running Nvidia Tegra K1 chip has been caught at AnTuTu benchmarks.As you can see from the charts on this page, this bad boy is really as powerful as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, packing support for OpenGL 4.4 and Unreal 4 engine.Unfortunately though, we don’t have a photo of this tablet to show you, but are looking to see it during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Tegra 2-equipped Samsung Galaxy S II is coming

A version of Samsung's 4.3-inch Galaxy S II Android smartphone relying on a dual-core Tegra 2 chip is officially confirmed by our trusted source.

Seems that Samsung's own Exynos dual-core chip haven't been good enough to sate the expected high demand for the handset.

So, NVIDIA with its Tegra 2, which runs at the same 1GHz as Exynos and offers comparable performance, is going to fill in the supply gap.

LG Optimus 2X comes to Europe in March

LG Optimus 2X were promised to come in January, however the Korean company's delivery schedule evidently slipped a tiny bit and now LG finally announced the Optimus 2X release date set this March.

It'll ship with Froyo on board, however a Gingerbread update is expressly promised.

Amazon's German branch had priced this handset at just under €500, which sounds about right for its eventual unlocked price.

Motorola Atrix is now available for AT&T customers for pre-order.

The device will cost you $199 and will be shipped on March 6th.

Also there are available some accessories as the Laptop Dock, which will cost you $299.99, the HD Media Dock for $129.99, and Motorola’s Bluetooth keyboard for $69.99.

LG "Star" smartphone probably powered by dual-core NVidia Tegra 2 chipset

The new LG Android smartphone, possibly be powered by a dual-core NVidia Tegra 2 processor, has been spotted by Engadget. The device will also offer an 8MPix camera, 1080p HD video recording, and more. The device codenamed Star, but its likely won't de its official name. It could also be stocked with an Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Some sources report that an HD-capable handset using the NVIDIA's Tegra processor will be released by the end of this year by some "top five" manufacturer.
