Today at CommunicAsia Samsung has officially announced its new QWERTY slider, the Omnia Pro B7610, also known as B7610 Louvre. They didn't name any exact release dates, but according to the previous rumors, the phone should be available to business customers sometime in July with the price ranging somewhere between €250 and €500.

Verizon's Samsung Omnia owners can now upgrade their handset to Windows Mobile 6.5, as an unofficial WM6.5 ROM has surfaced online yesterday. The GSM version of the said ROM was available for a while now, and the new CDMA works fine and stable as well. Some sources report that Bell will be launching the popular Samsung Omnia for its customers sometime between April 9th and 12th. Unfortunately, the price is unknown at the moment, but it shouldn't be more than $200, as this is the highest the price for a smartphone goes in Canada.
