HTC is committed to bringing the next version of Android to its flagship smartphones as soon as possible.L-release of Android will be available for the HTC One family of devices just 90 days after Google releases the final code.The developer version of Android L will be available for developers tomorrow, June 26th, with the official release following later this summer.

HTC America’s President Jason Mackenzie has confirmed that HTC will be launching Sense 6 UI for its last year’s One smartphone in May or June.The first update batch will cover the unlocked HTC One M7 and carrier-specific models selling in North America.The update for unlocked HTC One M7 will be out in May as well, with carrier variants following a month or so afterwards.

The Taiwanese company will limit the gold One’s availability to the Middle East, where we assume most of the customers are coming anyway.We have no idea how much HTC will ask for the gold One, but chances are it’s not the price that makes or breaks purchase of phones like these. In any case, if you do live in the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia, you should be able to call HTC and ask them to buy the gold version of their flagship device.

The upcoming HTC One, also known as the HTC M8 by its model name which was referenced to many times in the past, has apparently made its way to eBay for sale – even before it has been released.It is a Verizon-branded HTC One 4G LTE that comes with 32GB of internal memory that has been spotted on the eBay listing, retailing for $499.99 a pop.The eBay listing points to the upcoming smartphone’s packaging, but does not show the actual HTC One itself, which could very well point to this being a hoax by all means.

HTC decided to slash the price of its current flagship model by $100, bringing the total cost down to $499.But considering all the bells and whistles the One packs we’re not sure now’s the right time to buy “one” of these.In just two weeks, the Taiwanese company will unveil the All New One, which will make the “Old One” look, well, old. Not only will the next One rock a bigger screen and faster processor, but also few additional goodies like that secondary camera on the back that brings along several fancy effects, such as the ability to focus an image after the photo has been taken.

The  32GB variant of the HTC One for use on Sprint and Verizon’s networks are only a penny when purchased through Amazon in conjunction with a new two-year contract.Verizon is offering the Black model of the HTC One, while Sprint’s offering is the classic Silver. AT&T customers can grab a Silver or Black HTC One for just $49.99.While the contract is purchased with Sprint, Amazon is subsidizing the device, and has the ability to charge you a $400 fee if you cancel your contract within 181 days from the contract beginning date.
