Google has released the latest Android Native Dev Kit with support for OpenGL ES 2.0 that brings a new level of immersive realism to 3D gaming on mobile devices, in this case those based on Android 2.0 or higher. A reminder: the NDK is an add-on to the standard Android SDK that allows for writing and compiling critical pieces of functionality in native code, closer to the CPU without the involvement of Java virtual machine - just the thing for gaming development on the platform.
