AT&T to start selling Asus PadFone X mini on October 24th

AT&T, Asus and Intel announced the PadFone X mini smartphone/tablet combo. The device will start selling on October 24th for $199.99 requiring no contract signing activities.The mini packs Intel’s dual-core Atom Z2560 CPU, a single gig of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. The phone part has a 4.5-inch 854×480 (FWVGA) pixels screen and a 2,060 mAh battery, whereas the tablet dock rocks a 7-inch 1280×800 pixels display and its own 2,200 mAh battery.

Asus PadFone X mini coming to AT&T

The Asus PadFone X won’t be the last PadFone AT&T will offer. A smaller version of the device has been caught at the FCC and it has all the right radios to sing along AT&T’s 3G and 4G networks.We do know what the “regular PadFone Mini” is all about, though. Its phone “part” has a 4.3-inch screen, while the tablet shell rocks a 7-inch display. Perhaps AT&T gets a slightly tweaked model.

The tablet/smartphone hybrid known as the ASUS PadFone X is coming to AT&T soon, with pre-orders for the device beginning on June 6th.The PadFone X will be available for $199.99 for customers who agree to a new two-year contract, or can be purchased using AT&T’s Next monthly payment program beginning at $22.92 per month.The PadFone X comes with the latest version of Android on board, Android 4.

AT&Tís PadFone X teased again

AT&T is yet again teasing us with the PadFone X that will be equipped with a high-speed low-light sensitive 13-megapixel camera.We knew Asus has been working to improve its camera software, but somehow we doubt they can compete with the likes of HTC, Nokia and Samsung, as the Taiwanese company and AT&T officially announced this PadFone at CES in January, and it’s still not available.

AT&T has posted details on ASUS’ PadFone X specs while failing to say anything about the launch date.Originally announced at CES in January, the PadFone X will be the carrier’s version of the New PadFone Infinity though with a smaller tablet shell (9- vs 10-inch).It will come with full HD screens on both the phone and tablet parts (phone has a 5-inch display), 13-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras on the phone, 1-megapixel front-camera on the tablet, 2.

AT&T Shows Off Asus PadFone X

Earlier this January, AT&T announced that they will be selling the ASUS PadFone X sometime later this year, and now AT&T has decided to tweet a reminder to the world, touting that “Asus PadFone X is a 5-inch FHD smartphone that transforms into a 9-inch FHD tablet.This is yet another hint of a possible impending ASUS PadFone X release, although it remains to be seen as to just how much AT&T are going to ask for the ASUS PadFone X when it is finally released.
