Good news for Sprint customers: Palm Treo Pro has is now available for purchase at the company's website. It doesn't differ from its GSM counterpart, and offers the following features:

• Sprint TV;
• Music Store;
• Mobile Sync;
• Picture messaging;
• QWERTY keyboard;
• 320x320 display;
• Windows Mobile Pro 6.

Apparently, Palm has prepared something special for the February's MWC show. There's a new password-protected site with a domain name palmmwc2009.com, which is very intriguing, but we can't really tell what they have for us there. Maybe its the 3G GSM version of the Pre, or WiMAX Foleo... or maybe the real Nova OS?

Only time will tell, and we still have a few weeks to wait.

New slides of the upcoming Palm Treo Pro from Sprint have surfaced yesterday. Now it is known that the device will feature a 528Hz processor and 512MB of flash storage, as wel as IE6 as its default web browser. Also, according to some reports the device has already been shipped to stores, though it hasn't been confirmed.

Apparently, Vodafone will be the exclusive carrier to offer the Palm Pre in the UK. This is not confirmed yet, but reportedly Vodafone has been negotiating with Palm regarding their new touchscreen handset.

If the information is true, Palm will have to make a GSM version of the phone, which will be later available to other GSM carriers around the globe.<

According to PhoneArena, Best Buy will be Sprint's exclusive retail partner for the Palm Pre smartphone. The retailer will offer the handset exclusively for 60 days before other Sprint partners get it, but it remains unclear when.

BGR came up with several screenshots of what appears to be the Mojo SDK for the Palm's new webOS platform. All applications will be web-based and will rely heavily on HTML and Javascript. In addition, there's a very convenient feature of the SDK that presupposes the ability to debug the apps right from your desktop web browser, so there's no need in emulators.

This is probably the first spy pic of the upcoming Palm Treo Pro for Sprint. The CDMA version of the handset has been approved yesterday by the FCC, and doesn't offer anything new when compared to its GSM counterpart. It should become available in approximately 2 weeks time for about $549.

While the following information is nothing but a rumor, it is nice to know anyway. As the hearsay goes, Palm will be releasing the Centro 2 smartphone based on the company's new webOS platform this fall on Sprint.

Of course, it won't happen anytime soon, and we don't even know whether this rumor is true, so let's just hope they'll release their new and already popular Pre sooner, as this is what really matters now.
