Panasonic has released a new 3G clamshell phone in Japan for NTT DoCoMo, the P706ie.

Specs include:

• 3G connectivity;
• 2Mpix camera with autofocus ;
• 3" display;
• microSDHC memory card slot;
• Front-facing camera;
• Shortcut keys

 

Apparently, there are several new LiMo handsets to be released in the nearest future, thus amounting in 21 units.

Among them are handsets from Motorola, NEC and Panasonic Mobile. The following devices should become available today:

• MOTOZINE ZN5 from Motorola
• FOMA N906i, FOMA N906iµ, FOMA N906iL and FOMA N706i from NEC
• FOMA P906i and FOMA P706i&mic

Japanese SoftBank has released a new cool phone from Panasonic called MIRROR II 824P, which changes colors debending on the angle of view.

Its technical features include:

3" internal QVGA display;
Support for HSDPA data;
T-DMB support;
2Mpix autofocus camera with shake-reduction;
microSD/SDHC slot;
Size/weight: 49 x 107 x 15.

A couple of days ago Panasonic has introduced the KX-WP800, its first Skype phone.

The handset has its own access point and doesn't need a PC to enter Skype. FON access points are also supported.

Panasonic decided to add a mobile phone to its VIERA line of TV's.

The model is called VIERA 920P and comes with a 3" wide VGA resolution screen, which can be folded on its hinge either vertically or horizontally for optimal viewing. Other features include a 5.
