Here's a newly released video of the new Pantech Matrix PRO smartphone being unboxed. Actually, we're not too excited about it, but it's an interesting watch nontheless. Enjoy!

Pantech has presented its latest Matrix Pro smartphone, set to be launched on the AT&T's network. This Windows Mobile 6.1 powered handset is basically a successor to the old Pantech Duo, and comes with a sideways-sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The expected price shouldn't exceed $179.99

Pantech's new IM-S410 phone comes with an interesting, yet unuseful feature called Wind Recognition. It calculates the amount of air that blows through the microphone, thus allowing you to do tricks like the included one with a virtual flower losing its petals when you blow into the microphone.

A photo of the new Pantech-branded PCD TXT8020 has surfaced today, and it looks pretty weird. Not only does it have the slider form-factor, it also has a swiveling display and a full QWERTY keyboard. Supposedly it will come to Verizon, but we do not have any release dates and prices.

Pantech's SKY has released IM-S400L in Korea. Featurewise, we only know that it is CDMA handset with a 2.6" LCD, and a keypad using the company's new "Glide Sensor" technology, similar to the laptop's trackpad. It's available in white, pink, blue and green for ₩500,000 (~$395) only in Korea.

On Friday, December 12, AT&T will be releasing the new Pantech C630 cell phone. It will cost just $40 with a new 2-year contract after rebates, and will have the following features:

• Quad-band GSM/EDGE;
• Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA;
• Bluetooth v1.2 with stereo A2DP support;
• aGPS;
• 1.3Mpix camera with video capture

SK Telecom of Korea introduced a new full touchscreen music phone from Pantech, called Sky Presto. As always, it appears to be an exclusive for the Korean market, and will be available there for about $560.

Features of the Presto include:

• Dedicated Music key;
• Large touchscreen display;
• T-DMB TV tuner

FCC has revealed the a new Pantech smartphone destined to AT&T. The new C820 has a dual-slider form-factor and resembles the current Duo C810, which could mean that we actually see the Duo 2 here. The improvements over the previous model include the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, and a 2Mpix camera, but the lack of Wi-Fi and GPS still gives us headaches.

Before we've seen it only on pictures, and now it's gone official at AT&T. The Pantech Slate is the “world’s thinnest QWERTY keyboard” handset, designed for messaing junkies. It may not be pretty and high-end, but that's all you can get for $50. :)
