This is the first live picture of the upcoming thinnest full QWERTY smartphone, the Pantech Slate. According to Engadget, the device will be available by the end of October for less than $50.
Note: it doesn't support 3G.

Today AT&T has released the new Pantech Matrix dual slider in navy blue, black with green and red for $79.99 with a 2-year contract and mail-in rebate. The device features a unique dual-sliding, double-keypad design, similar to the Pantech Duo. Specifications are listed below.

Good news for the AT&T's Pantech C810 Duo owners: you can now update your phone's system to Windows Mobile 6.1. The firmware upgrade is available at the official website, and besides Windows Mobile 6.1, appparently includes some "other enhancements", which the company didn't specify.

Pantech announced today its new Pantech C610 clamshell handset bound for AT&T. It features HSDPA , AGPS, and supports various AT&T services. A more detailed speclist is posted below.

AT&T has announced the new Pantech Matrix.

It has the same form-factor as the Duo, and offers such features like dual-band UMTS/HSDPA, a 1.3Mpix camera, Bluetooth, Video Share, a QWERTY keyboard and numeric keypad, and even comes in a choice of red, blue, and black colors.

Pantech has launched two new sliders in Korea, the SKY IM-S380K and IM-S360L.

The first one supports HSDPA network, and features a 7:3 widescreen display, FM radio, microSD slot, Bluetooth, GPS, and will be available in pink, white, and black for about 400,000 won ($347) by the end of the year.

The second is a CDMA phone for the Korean LG Telecom.

Pantech announced a new slim HSDPA slider phone in Korea, the Sky IM-S350 Hush. It will be available for about 500,000 won in the second-half of September. Features include:

• Noise cancellation technology;

Telcel announced that in the near future it will start selling the Pantech’s dual-faced C810 Duo in Mexico. This is the first generation model and is not to be confused with the Pantech Duo 2 (C820), which has recently passed the FCC.

A new Pantech smartphone was spotted at the FCC site. There are very little details available about it yet, but judging by its model number C530 we can assume the handset is bound for AT&T. We know it will support quad-band GSM/EDGE networks, and will probably feature a QWERTY keyboard.
