The Pantech C600 is an entry level 3G phone approved by the FCC for AT&T (Cingular). This new handset is going to join the LG CU400. The device is a quad-band GSM/EDGE plus dual band WCDMA clamshell with dual screens. It is a small phone featuring a VGA camera, Bluetooth 1.2 and MicroSD slot.
The manual indicates the software updated to display AT&T instead of Cingular branding.
The Korean company manufactured a new phone Pantech a100 that got the FCC approval. This time it is a candybar phone that resembles the brick phones we once used to have.
The company developed Pantech a100 having the budget-minded in mind. a100 comes only in black and has rather simple design. The only one interesting feature it has is its' rocker-style joystick/navigator.
The IM-U160 handset was launched by Pantech. It is being a combination of phone and television set. The Pantech IM-U160 has the QVGA LCD screen which is a wide one at 2.6 inches . The aspect ratio fits well with a 15:9, as opposed to the 4:3 offered by most phones. Some other features are - a 2 Megapixel camera with Auto Focus and PictBridge Function.
The Pantech C3 has been launched by Cingular. This one is a minor update to the C300 that was launched last Spring. The C3 has the same small size of the C300 and as Pantech says still qualifies as the "smallest camera flip phone".
