Philips is known to produce entry-level handsets with exceptional battery life. Well, here's it's latest entry, the Xenium X520. It's most notable feature is the ability to use standard AAA batteries as an additional power source (2.5 hrs).

The phone's battery itself is good for up to 8 hours of talk time and up to a month of standby time! And specwise it's not so bad either:

• 2Mpix camera;
• Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP);
• FM radio with RDS;
• Music player;
• microSD memory card slot

The release date is scheduled for March.

Here's another Philips Xenium phone, the X710, which apparently doesn't differ much from these two, given its said extra long battery life. But, since it doesn't support 3G, we really don't care. Apparently Russians do...

Philips has introduced two of its latest clamshell handsets in the Xenium series. Both 9@9q Dragon and Phoenix are said to deliver up to a month of standby time on a single charge, and come in a nicely designed casing with cool light-up indicators.

In rest, these are entry-level handsets for the Russian market with an unreasonably high price of 4,999 rubles ($172).

Philips unveiled its latest handset in the Xenium series. The new Xenium X620 has a nice, glossy appearance, and comes with the following features:

The new Philips Xenium X520, previously known as 9 @ 9j is nearing its release. Same as its prototype, the X520 will be able to work on AAA barteries. The fll feature set is posted below:

Philips has introduced another entry-level cell phone today, the E100. This budget music handset comes with the following features:

• 1.8" 160 x 128 resolution display;
• FM radio;
• 2MB (!) integrated memory;
• microSD card slot;
• Weight: 75 g (2.64 oz)

The price is just $60 (unsubsidized, of course).

Philips E100 is yet another entry-level cell phone for those who need no frills in their handset. Specifications include:

• Integrated FM radio;
• 2MB internal memory;

Remember the Philips 9@9k released about a year ago? Then you'll probably notice its striking resemblance with the "new" Xenium X500. The phone represents nothing special, only the supposed 2-month standby is something worth mentioning. The phone will be released sometime in the near future in Russia, Turkey, and Romania.

Following the previous news, Philips has also posted some photos of the new 193 model, which looks exactly like the Philips 192. The company didn't provide any further information about the phone's features, but we presume it is the same simple 192 model upgraded with an FM tuner (as seen in the picture to the right).

Philips has a new basic cell phone for music lovers, the M200. It is a cool looking candybar handset with an FM tuner, microSD support, and a dedicated music key to quickly access the player. Other features are listed below.
