T-Mobile started offering the Motorola RAZR2 V8.

This quad-band GSM/EDGE clamshell phone operates on Motorola's Linux-Java OS and comes with stereo Bluetooth, touch-sensitive controls, 2Mpix camera, and 2GB of on-board memory (no microSD slot).

The price is $250 with 2-year contract.

Verizon Wireless and Motorola announced the launch of the MOTORAZR2 V9m in September.
This sleek and stylish music-phone features:

• an external touch-sensitive keys for quick access to music functions;
• music player, with download features from V CAST Music directory;
• 2.0 megapixel camera with 4x zoom;
• speech recognition;
• video;
• text and instant messaging;
• Bluetooth(R) stereo support.

The new Motorola RAZR2 V9 awaits its approval from FCC and will be available at AT&T in the near future. This 3G cell phone uses HSDPA connectivity that allows downloading various web content at lightning fast speeds.

Concerning the design and specifications the new model doesn't differ much from the original.

Motorola is to launch three new RAZR2 series mobile phones in July. The RAZR2 family includes V9 (3G HSDPA), V9m (EVDO CDMA) and V8 (GSM) handsets.
