It looks like BlackBerry Bold will be delayed on AT&T until mid-August.
The thing is that AT&T hasn't certified the handset yet due to some of the handsets's problems with battery life and overheating.
So, knowing that, what are you going to do? Buy the handset from Canada or wait?

Here's a new set of photos of the upcoming Blackberry Kickstart clamshell. We just can't understand why doesn't RIM announce this thing, as today it is a secret to nobody. These latest shots don't uncover anything new - it is still a usual dual screen flip with a 2Mpix camera:
- Internal LCD: 240×320;
- External LCD: 160×128;
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE;
- "Next Gen" SureType keyboard;
- 2Mpix camera;
- 16-bit color LCDs;
- Wi-Fi b/g;
- 3.

The device you see on the image here is apparently the upcoming BlackBerry 9500 Thunder - yet another iPhone killer.
Featured at the Horizon Wireless' website, it is already available for pre-order. We can't tell much from what we see in the pic - it's a blurred-out image of a keyboard-less all-touchscreen handset, similar in design to the RIM's BlackBerry lineup.
So, since the device is only rumored, we would prefer to wait for the 3G iPhone to come out instead.

Canadian Rogers Wireless is getting ready to release the WiFi-enabled BlackBerry Pearl 8120.
The carrier already offers two of the previous Pearls, and there's no reason to believe they will limit themselves to this couple.
Pricing and availability details haven't been announced yet.

These are unofficial, and are subject to change: as expected, AT&T will be the first to get the Bold, and will start selling it for $300 in July.
Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile customers will be able to get their hands on the device in September. It sounds strange, but apparently T-Mobile will offer the phone for $350.
If something changes, we'll let you know.

According to BGR, the new BlackBerry 9000 is getting official next week on Monday, May 12 at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2008 in Orlando.
Also, referring to the same source, the final name of the device might be BlackBerry Bold, though this is not yet confirmed (and probably won't be).
As for us, we'd prefer to wait for the announcement instead of speculating.
