Yesterday Rogers has introduced the Motorola VA76r, a new rugged clamshell phone. It features a QVGA display, Bluetooth, 2Mpix camera, and microSD slot, and will be available for $199.99 CAD (about $194) with a 3-year contract. No word on the U.S. release yet.

Wi-Fi-enabled BlackBerry Curve 8320 will soon be coming to the Rogers’ network. The handset will will be available in Sapphire Blue, and will support Rogers’ UMA/Talkspot service. The carrier also offers a list of the available BlackBerry plans.

It looks like we'll soon see the BlackBerry Pearl 8220 on Rogers, as the company plans to hold a series of launch parties for the device's upcoming release. These parties will take place in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary.
However, to enter a party you'll need an invitation, and don't ask where to get one...

Starting October 1st Canadian Rogers will introduce two new calling/data plans for the popular iPhone 3G. The 6GB for $30 plan will most likely discontinue its existance, so try to spend less trafic begining next month.

So, here are the plans:

• 2GB data (up from 750MB)*

Rogers has spread the word about a new addition to its UMA-enabled Talkspot phone lineup, the Samsung t336. For just $49.99 CAD (about $47) on a 3-year contract you'll get a 1.3Mpix camera, 220 x 176 primary and 96 x 96 secondary displays, stereo Bluetooth, and even a Wi-Fi radio.

The phone will appear on shelves later this week.

Rogers is all set to release the BlackBerry Bold. Atleast this is the first idea that comes to my mind when I look at the picture above.

While it may look like a huge Blackberry handset, but it's actually the Rogers Bold launch kit full of flyers, informational pamphlets and all kinds of other goodies that will soon be handed out to prospective buyers.

Rogers has finally released the Motorola ROKR E8 today. The phone is charged $99 with a 3-year contract, but if you think that's a reasonable price then check out the BestBuy.com. They offer the phone for just $65 on the same terms. How do you like that? After all, $34 make difference...

According to BGR, the new Blackberry Kickstart will soon be available from the largest Canadian GSM carrier Rogers. The release date is not confirmed yet, but it's a matter of weeks... Rogers will also launch the Motorola ROKR E8 for $99.99, the Samsung T336 for $49.99, the Sony Ericsson Walkman W760a for $79.99, and finally the Sony Ericsson W350a for $29.99 - all with a 3-year contract.

Canadian Rogers now offers a good option for iPhone 3G haters. The carrier has dropped the price for the Nokia N95 all-in-one smartphone to $199. And while you'll still have to agee for a 3-year contract, that's a serious price cut for a serious device, and must not be neglected.

Oh, and don't forget you can also choose that $30 6GB data plan.

Just to inform our Canadian readers, not only iPhone 3G owners will take advantage of Rogers' new $30 for 6GB data plan.

The carrier has applied it to its full 3G smartphone range, which includes Nokia N95, HTC TyTN and Samsung Jack.
