Rumor: HP going to launch the Veer with AT&T on May 2nd

The Veer, which was announced by HP on February 9th of this year, is rumored to launch on May 2nd. It’ll be available from AT&T, with an as yet to be determined price point.

The Veer is a HP's smallest phone, it has a screen that measures just 2.6 inches across with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels, an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor inside, 512 MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Sprint getting Motorola Atrix with WiMaX 4G

It seems like Sprint is planning to get the Motorola Atrix. And it will come with WiMax 4G.

So, if the rumor becomes true, the Atrix will be the next big handset for Sprint after the EVO 4G.

The device is going to be announced the next month along the side of Motorola Xoom.

Nexus S 4G & Evo 3D officially announced at CTIA by Sprint

During a-two-and-half-hours session at CTIA Sprint has announced several devices.

First one is the Nexus S 4G. This device will be similar to the current Nexus S but added with WiMAX. The device could be the SPH-D600 or SPH-D720.

Another device that Sprint ought to show is the EVO 3D - another one 3D capable device.

Android 2.4 Ice Cream to launch in the summer

According to multiple sources , Google will launch a new version 2.4 of Android OS sometime in June/July timeline. t Google's VP of Engineering Andy Rubin said that Android 2.4 will be called "Ice Cream Sandwich", following other versions by the alphabet [Donut (D), Eclair (E), Froyo (F), Gingerbread (G) and Honeycomb (H) Ice Cream (I)...]. More information and announcements on this are expected to be released during Google's IO conference at the beginning of May in San Francisco.

Rumor: T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant 4G "leaked"

An image obtained by TmoNews, shows a new smartphone called Vibrant 4G that Samsung and T-Mobile might be working on.The report suggests that the main feature of this device is support for T-Mobile's 21Mbps HSPA+ network. Other specs are not so impressive as they are too similar to the original Vibrant's specs. Also it runs on Android 2.2 OS when there is already 2.3 available... At least it is all according to the leaked photo which might is not be 100% legit.

Rumored Motorola's new devices for AT&T and Verizon Wireless

According to source Motorola is planning to release two new Android devices for AT&T and Verizon Wireless in the beginning of 2011. Both phones will be powered by Tegra 2, both will be 100% LTE-compatible and both will use dual-core processing technology. The one called (internally) Olympus will be available from AT&T in January, and the Verizon's one code-named "Etna" should launch in February or March.

HTC might be planning on its own app store

According to Financial Times magazine, HTC may be working on its own application store and that it has started hiring employees just for that. HTC also eventually plans to get up to 100 employees worldwide as a supporting staff for its app store. That is according to sourced rumors. There is still no official information from HTC about this app store.
