Virgin Mobile announced that it will soon be offering the low-end LG Rumor 2 messaging phone. The device comes with a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth and 1.3Mpix camera. It is also available from Sprint, which is the future owner of Virgin Mobile.

Sprint's LG Rumor2 has gone official! It is confirmed to launch on March 15th at Best Buy stores and at Sprint.com. By the end of April it will also be released in all retail outlets, and will be available in Black Titanium and Vibrant Blue color options.

A member of the Sprint Users’ forum has posted a picture of what it appears to be the successor to the LG Rumor. Apart from the added QWERTY keyboard, the handset didn't change much outwardly. Unfortunately, from this picture we can't extract any additional details, except that the phone is headed for Sprint... again.

According to reports, Sprint will soon be launching the second Rumor phone, simply called Rumor 2, in order to replace the first one. In addition, they'll also be releasing a smaller version of the Samsung Instinct called Instinct Mini. The Rumor 2 should be released sometime in mid-March, while the Instinct Mini should be available on April 19th.

According to some rumors, Apple plans to release a mini version of the iPhone called iPhone nano. The source says should be available by Christmas at a price of $300 sans contract.
As there are still 5 months to go before Christmas, I wouldn't get too excited in your place. And by the way, no one knows whether it will be a shrinked 3G iPhone... Rather we should wait.

We're no sure pabout You probably know that AT&T-branded Samsung SGH-i780 will be renamed to i788. Well, here's a new rumor: this phone could actually be the upcoming Blackjack 3. And why not, with all those great features, some of which are lacking on the Blackjack II:
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS;
- 3G HSDPA;
- Optical touchpad with stylus;
- Forward-facing camera;
- WiFi;
- GPS.

Sprint has named the LG Rumor its official cell phone for St. Patrick’s Day, and added a new color to the handset. Thus, currently available color options include white with silver, black with blue, and green - the new one. Besides that nothing else has changed. The phone still features a 1.3Mpix camera, microSD card slot (up to 4GB), Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated GPS.

Sprint now offers its customers a free firmware upgrade for the LG Rumor handset. Changes include the updated text messaging application and new UI. You can download the upgrade over the air through the firmware update application in the phone's main menu> settings/tools> tools> update firmware, or at Sprint retail stores.

Many rumors have appeared in the net about the upcoming Nokia E71i, which is the E61 's successor. As there is no official information about the device we will just tell you what we heard. :) So, the phone should be announced at 3GSM and will probably be released sometime in Q2 2008. Nokia E71i features will include HSDPA and Wi-Fi support, GPS functionality, 3Mpix camera, and full support for device and memory card encryption.

According to the rumor website 9to5 Mac, at the upcoming Macworld Keynote event Steve Jobs plans to make an official announcement that iPhone sales have passed the 5 million mark. We don't know for sure yet, but it seems quite possible. Looks like Apple intends to keep its promise and sell 10 million handsets by the end of 2008.
