Bell has announced it will be the exclusive carrier to offer the HSPA-enabled Samsung Omnia II in Canada. It has been designated the “Official Mobile Device of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.”, as Bell will be the official communications sponsor of the upcoming sports event.

According to BGR, the launch of the T-Mobile's BlackBerry 9700 might have been pushed back to November 16th. Then it will be available at $199 with a 2-year agreement and $449 for full retail . Other than that, the Android-powered Samsung Behold II will launch on November 18th with a $249 price tag (plus a 2-year contract).

Samsung has launched its new i5700 Galaxy Spica Android smartphone in Russia, which was previously known as the Galaxy Lite. The phone has:
- 128MB RAM;
- 800MHz processor;
- 3.2" full touch screen;
- 3.2Mpix camera;
- 1GB internal memory;
- microSD card slot;
- Black or lime green color options
It will be available in Russia in November for around $480.

Regional carrier MetroPCS has recently launched the Samsung Code (SCH-i220), the company's first Windows Mobile 6.1 phone. Yes, you read that right, not 6.5.
The handset supports 3G data connection, Bluetooth, and has a 2Mpix camera, microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and a hardware QWERTY keyboard. The optional WizPro interface allows for for customization on the home screen and creating shortcuts to the most frequently used features on the phone.

A Samsung's representative has posted a comment at the official fan page of the Samsung OMNIA II stating that the phone will be released in the U.S. by the end of the year with all the relevant software updates preinstalled on the device. The exact release date will be announced by Verizon, which is the only U.S. carrier to offer the device. Hopefully it's November 1st.

U.S. Cellular is now offering the Samsung r520 Trill and r850 Caliber mid-range handsets.
The Caliber comes with a full touchscreen, slate form factor, and integrates a 3Mpix camera with video recording, stereo Bluetooth support, and the whole set of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI based widgets. The price is $85.95 after rebate.

Those who live in Sweden will be able to get the new Blue Earth, a solar powered phone from Samsung before the end of this month, with France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, and "other European and Asian countries" following on shortly. Pricing hasn't been announced yet.
The U.S. is out of the question, as the phone features HSDPA 900 / 2100MHz bands that don't work Stateside.
