July 15th will be a great day for T-Mobile customers, as besides the release of its updated Dash (aka HTC Snap), the carrier also plans to launch an entry-level full touchscreen handset called the Samsung Highlight. And here are its "highlights":

Pricing hasn't been announced so far.

The recently released Samsung Jet is currently available in the UK for free, literally. Of course, this deal is only available if you get the phone along with a 2-year contract and a minimum £20 per month plan. But it still sounds good, doesn't it?

Samsung is in the spotlight today. They've introduced several new handsets, two of which are the Omnia II (I8000), the successor to the first model, and the the scaled down Omnia LITE (B7300). Both have some impressive features:

Today at CommunicAsia Samsung has officially announced its new QWERTY slider, the Omnia Pro B7610, also known as B7610 Louvre. They didn't name any exact release dates, but according to the previous rumors, the phone should be available to business customers sometime in July with the price ranging somewhere between €250 and €500.

The Samsung Finesse (SCH-r810) is available from MetroPCS for a while now, and last week has been released on another regional carrier - Cellular South. The company offers it for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a new 2-year contract.

Cricket has recently released the new Samsung r460 MyShot II. It is a low-end clamshell with a 1.3Mpix camera, Bluetooth, messaging, web and music player, and microSD slot (up to 8GB). It supports tri-band CMDA radios, including Cricket's AWS 1700MHz band, but the data speeds are limited to 1x.

The price is $140.

Samsung has recently announced a new solar-powered cell phone called the E1107 Crest Solar. The entire back of the phone is covered the with the solar panel that charges the battery when in the sunlight, and each hour of charging can provide from 5 to 10 minutes of talk time. Sweet.

Features of the E1107 include support for dual-band 800/1900 GSM/EDGE and FM radios, as well as an MP3 player, GPS, a torch light and Mobile Tracker application.

The Samsung Ultra S S7350, a recent addition to the company's Ultra line has been spotted in pink. That's definitely good news for some people, and if you're one of those who detest pink paint jobs, there's always the silver option.

Samsung has recently published some information about its new m340 Mantra clamshell for Virgin Mobile. The phone comes with a VGA camera, Bluetooth, dual-displays and basic messaging features, and is now available for $60 via the Virgin Mobile USA web site.
