According to hdblog.it, Samsung will be releasing a QWERTY sporting Omnia Pro handset this year, but they didn't give the exact release date. The phone is said to feature:

• Windows Mobile 6.1 (can be updated to 6.5);
• Sliding QWERTY keyboard;

Verizon Wireless has officially announced today that the Samsung Trance, as mentioned previously will be available for purchase starting Friday, April 24th at a price of $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate on a 2-year contract.

Samsung and Tracfone have quietly unveiled the third Samsung phone for the said wireless network, the new SGH-T201G. It's a low-end generic clamshell handset with dual displays and features, such as text messaging, web access, and PIM.
