Samsung came up with a pretty original design for its new phone. This is the Samsung Betty Boop, a limited-edition slider handset dedicated to the famous cartoon character. It is now available online at a price of €129, or for €1 if you buy it from Bouygues Telecom (France) along with a 2-year contract.

Samsung has announced a successor to its Alias U740 phone, released about two years ago. The new upcoming model called U750 Alias2 will feature a similar dual-hinge design, and a dynamic keypad that switches between numeric and QWERTY modes depending on its position (portrait/landscape).

Check out the new Samsung SCH-W740 codenamed “Haptic 8M”, the company's latest 8 megapixel touchscreen cameraphone with a unique face tagging feature, destined for the Korean market. Its features include:
- 3.3" 480×800 touchscreen display;
- TouchWiz user interface;
- GPS;
- Bluetooth;
- 3.5G HSDPA;
- DMB tuner;
- 8Mpix camera with auto focus and face tagging (make a call or send a text message directly from your captured image)
The Haptic 8M will be available soon in Korea for 900,000₩ ($645).

King Mobile came up with some leaked photos of a new Samsung full touchscreen handset called Samsung S8000. It is basically the same Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch, but with a 5Mpix camera instead of an 8Mpix one. And of course it's cheaper than the S8300.

It offers basic features such as a basic camera (probably VGA), FM tuner, an MP3 player, USB connectivity, microSD card slot and quad-band GSM support. According to a leaked document from BrightPoint, the rumored Instinct M810 Mini and a red version of the LG Lotus will both be available on April 19th. The Instinct Mini will come in graphite and bronze colors at a price of $449.99, while the red LG Lotus will be going for $299.99.
That's not officially confirmed however, but is very likely.
