The Samsung i5700, the handset formerly known as Galaxy Lite has been reportedly renamed to Spica, according to the Italian site Cellularmania, which has posted a large hands-on gallery and a detailed list of specifications.
The phone offers:
- 3" 384 x 240 AMOLED touchscreen;
- HSDPA support;
- 3.2Mpix camera with autofocus;
- 1500 mAh battery;
- Accelerometer;
- GPS;
- FM radio;
- 528MHz Qualcomm processor;
- Android OS
There is no pricing or availability info so far, but we do know that the US release is highly unlikely.

While the upcoming Samsung Galaxy i7500 hasn't been announced by any carriers, those of you anxious to get it should visit Newegg. The retailer offers the unlocked GSM version of the handset, which currently costs $579.99 with free shipping across the U.S. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico). Unfortunately there is no release date yet, but atleast we know it's inevitable.

Samsung and Sprint have officially launched the Instinct HD. The handset is based on the features of its predecessors, and offers:
- 5Mpix camera with 720p (1280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps) video capture capabitity;
- HD TV-out (720p via HDMI);

- Opera Mobile 9.7 web browser;

An alleged internal Sprint memo has confirmed that the upcoming Samsung Instinct HD will be available to Sprint customers starting September 27th. To clarify, it will be launched on 26th, and released the next day. It is expected to go for between $99 and $149 on contract.
