The new Samsung S3500 that was recently approved by the FCC will apparently be released in China as well. It's a simple entry-level cell phone, and won't be missed anywhere in tghe world, but it might be of interest for those who need a cheap handset to make calls/send SMS.

Some of the features include tri-band GSM/EDGE support, QVGA display, FM radio, and 35MB of memory.

Remember the unannounced Samsung Acme i8910 that was spotted a few days ago? Well, a bunch of new photos of it have surfaced today, and judging by what we saw the phone looks sweet!

The new Samsung SPH-W7100 is a cell phone with increased safety features targeted at women and children. It will have a ring-activated alarm to activate the SOS function, which enables an alarm that can be heard within a 5-meter radius and also automatically sends a text message with location information to pre-programmed numbers.

A new unknown Samsung touch screen phone called Acme i8910 has been leaked on Gaj-it website has posted a couple of photos of the unknown Samsung Acme i8910 smartphone, which is said to be pretty similar in terms of specs to the popular Omnia. Here are some of its features:

• 8GB / 16GB internal memory;

Just an update for the yesterday's news brief: T-Mobile USA and Samsung have jointly announced the Samsung T929 Memoir today. Wow, that was fast... The exact release date and pricing was not announced.

Features of the Samsung T929 Memoir:

The new Samsung C6625, a variant of the Samsung C6620 available in Italy has been spotted today on Expansys. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, and is similar in design to the Samsung BlackJack. The exact release date is unknown at the moment, but you can pre-order the C6625 on Expansys for £249.99 ($360).

According to T-Mobile Scoop February 2009 edition, the carrier will be announcing the new 8Mpix Samsung T929 Memoir cameraphone by end of this month for its customers. The launch of the handset is scheduled for Feb 25th.

Features include a full touchscreen display, Bluetooth, GPS, and support for 3G UTMS / HSDPA data networks.

Samsung has leaked 8 new phones set to be launched at the upcoming MWC 2009. As usual, we don't have any information regarding pricing and availability, though we do know some of their specifications.
