The new Samsung SPH-W7100 is apparently meant for women and children. It is equipped with a 100dB siren and a SOS function that alerts local authorities to your position via GPS. Should you stop being afraid of terrorists with such a gadged? Hell NO! But these are cool functions anyway.
No word on the release in the States, look it up in Korea.

AT&T will be offering two new handsets sometime in the near future, the Samsung Shift and LG Etna, for all you messaging junkies. The Shift is a 2G candybar phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Etna is a rather low-end device with EDGE, VGA camera and other basic features. Does any of these make up a good purchase?

Samsung’s i7410 projector phone (knwn also as the Samsung Show) has been showcased at the MWC 2009 event today. It integrates Texas Instrument’s DLP pico technology, allowing the device to project images over area size ranging from 5" to 50" with a resolution of 480x320 pix. Even though it incorporates a projector, it still looks thin and sleek, and also packs a 3.2" WQVGA touch-sensitive display, a 5Mpix camera and the TouchWiz UI.

Samsung has announced a new solar-powered full touchscreen phone named “Blue Earth”. It's made of recycled plastic, which makes it safe for the environment. Moreover, as I've already said, the "Blue Earth" charges up via the solar panel on its back. Cool, now you won't have to carry the charger with you all the time.
