New pictures of the upcoming rugged Samsung B2100 Niagara have appeared today in the Web. Reportedly, the phone will be immune to dust, dirt, shock, and water, and will also be equipped with some great speakerphone options, including a second mic on top, ambient noise filter and programmable vibration profiles. As expected, Rogers Wireless has release two tough-looking handsets today, the ZTE Rock F165 (right) and Samsung Rugby A836 (left). Both come on contract for $79.99 and $149.99, respectively. Any takers?

Here's a new hands-on video of the Samsung Show (formally known as the W7900), published by PopSci, who were lucky enough to play with the upcoming projector-phone. The handset will be released first in Korea, and will include the following specs:

• 7.2Mbps HSDPA;

Expansys has reveale some details about two upcoming Windows Mobile phones from Samsung, called the Louve and the Pivot.

Samsung Louve is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro based handset with a tilting screen, 3.2Mpix camera, customizable widget UI and a design similar to the TyTN II.

Samsung Pivot is a WinMo6.5 smartphone, basically an updated Samsung i780.

The upcoming 8Mpix Samsung S8300 cameraphone, which has surfaced recently, will be known as the “Loches” when it launches. While we don't know the exact released date yet, we do know some of its key features:

• 12.8mm thickness;
• “Duralumin” anti-scratch casing;
• 2.8" WQVGA OLED touchscreen, 16 million colors;
• 8Mpi

Samsung Hightone is the company's yet another mid-range slider handset. It should be launched soon on Sprint in a choice of red or blue colors at an unknown price. Features include:

• 2Mpix camera;
• Video recording capability;
• 3.5mm headphone jack;
• Stereo Bluetooth with audible caller ID;
• Up to 8GB memory;

The new luxurious Samsung Ego S9402 is a bit similar to Vertu, but is considerably cheaper than most of the Vertu's models. It costs "just" $1,543, and has some nice specifications such as dual-SIM card slots, Bang & Olufsen sound processor, 2" QVGA AMOLED display, and 5Mpix camera. Any takers?

FCC has approved the new low-end Samsung U350 for Verizon. The phone will be available next month for free on contract, or for about $100-$150 unlocked. Note that the said price range is pure speculation, as no pricing or availability details were announced yet.

Samsung has unveiled another 8Mpix cameraphone in Korea, which will complement the existing Innov8 and Pixon.  It will have an 800 x 480 resolution touchscreen, and will use the TouchWIZ UI. The camera will also have a Xenon flash and autofocus ability. Pricing and availability details weren't announced, but hopefully it won't be Korea only.

Those who were planning to get themselves a Samsung Instinct now have a new color option to choose - pink. Price and specifications remained the same, so all willing can buy the phone now for $99 after rebate and a 2-year contract.
