The all-black edition of the Samsung U740 mobile phone is now available.

Samsung SCH-U740 Black can be purchased directly from Verizon at the price of $99, like the ordinary U740.

Specifications and features remained the same.

The new Samsung SCH-i760 slide-up mobile office communicator has finally been approved by the FCC. It means it will be available very soon. Verizon Wireless will probably be the carrier.

The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6 OS and features Wi-Fi connectivity, an MP3 Player, a 1.3Mpix camera and a Slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung Electronics has announced its new Samsung C170 phone soon to be available in the Russian market.

C170 is well designed and has a reasonable price. This cell phone is only 8,75mm thin and has a wide range of functions such as text messaging, internet access, dictaphone, built-in FM receiver, large phone book (500 contacts), etc.

Samsung C170 costs 3000 rubles ($115).

CTIA presented the Samsung UbiCell base station. It’s a small white box similar to a WiFi access point. The UbiCell is mini cell tower for CDMA 1x networks. Through a broadband connection the device connects to a mobile network and provides enhanced cell coverage for the home. You don’t need anything special to use the base station. UbiCell will be distributed by Samsung via Sprint.

This summer Sprint is going to begin selling the UbiCell.

The Samsung u620 is going to be the first phone for Verizon Wireless's new V CAST Mobile TV service. The Samsung SCH-u620 measures 3.76" x 1.86" x .85".

 

The Samsung u620 has a two-inch QVGA 240 x 320 pixel LCD screen, a dedicated V CAST Mobile TV key and a retractable V CAST Mobile TV antenna, a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with flash and a camcorder for Video Messaging-length.

Sprint announced Samsung UpStage (SPH-M620) soon. It is the first U.S. handheld with a dual-sided form which measures 4.07" x 1.73" x 0.37" and weighs just 2.57 ounces. The device has the look of a phone on one side and an MP3 player on the other. There is UpStage screen on the phone side that is meant to making calls, text messaging and contacts management.

Samsung F200 music cellphone features the design of the X830 music cell phone. F200 carries a mere 5MB internal memory, thus you need to buy additionally the microSD card to accompany the F200. This device  is compatible with the MP3, WMA, OGG, DCF, and SMP file formats.
 
There is no info available on pricing and availability details for the F200.

While being on CeBIT 2007 Samsung introduced the SGH-P110 messaging phone. This phone is a good idea for those who prefer to get the message across via text instead of voice. For this purpose the device has a QWERTY keyboard, e-mail support, and instant message service compatibility. The phone can also boast such features as Bluetooth connectivity and a speakerphone function.

There are a lot of talks about an upgrade to the Samsung Q1 UMPC. It’s known that Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC has a full QWERTY keyboard, Windows Vista Premium OS and MS Origami Pack.
