According to FCC, the Samsung U440 Cleo won't be a Canada's exclusive. The phone will soon be available in the U.S. from Verizon known only as the Samsung U440. Well, that's something.

Starting today the Samsung a777 is available from AT&T, and comes in 4 color options, two of which are currently available at the company's website (red and blue).

The price of $79.99 on contract after rebate is clearly overstated, but maybe they're planning a holiday special or something... I hope.

Telus has announced a new phone with a QWERTY keyboard phone for its subscribers, the Samsung m540 Slyde. Featuring a 2Mpix camera, GPS navigation, 2.1" display, and the QWERTY keyboard this phone comes in either black or pink, and will be available at the following prices:

• $179.99 with a 3-year contract;
• $49.99 with a 2-year contract;
• $179.

The fashionable Samsung Cleo, the only has arrived in Canada, as planned. Though it's been officially launched, it's not for sale just yet, and the price is also kept secret.

The new Samsung a777 is a stylish mid-range phone that has been announced today by AT&T. While we don't know the exact released date and pricing, expect it to become available right before Christmas for less than $100.

Available colors will include blue, red, orange, and green.

Samsung has prepared a list of its new handsets coming to different U.S. carriers in the nearest future. Everyone is here, except Sprint, but we're sure Samsung will add a couple of handsets to this carrier too in the very beginning of 2009. And now check out what the manufacturer has to offer.

T-Mobile has unveiled its holiday line-up of new handsets today. Among them are two new Samsung phones, the Behold and Gravity.

The first is a touchscreen phone with a 5Mpix camera with flash, support for quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, as well as 1700/2100MHz 3G bands. It also supports stereo Bluetooth and GPS. A 1GB microSD card comes included in the package.

Verizon has issued today a new minor firmware update for the Samsung Glyde to fix some problems that apparently were the cause of the phone's recent recall. We don't know what the update does, fixes or adds, but it is recommended that you install it.

Samsung has released an updated version of its i900 Omnia smartphone in Korea yesterday. It is called T*Omnia, and differs from the original with a more hi-res screen (WVGA 800 x 480 pixels (up from 400 x 240)), and an added DMB TV tuner. Other features are still the same and include:

• Quad-band GSM/EDGE;
• Windows Mobile 6.1;
• 7.2Mbps HSDPA data;

Don't expect it to go on sale in the U.

Alltel has launched the Samsung SCH-R800 Delve, a full touchscreen phone with Samsung's TouchWiz UI. It will be available in stores and online starting November 7th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate.
