AT&T has released its Samsung a237 entry-level clamshell. There's nothing exciting about it (VGA camera and EDGE support), but if you're looking for a nice cell phone just to make voice calls, the a237 may be the one for you.

Sprint introduced today two new low-end handsets from Samsung, the M320 and M220. Both are well designed and have almost the same features, which include:

• Clamshell form-factor

• CDMA 1x data;
• Speakerphone;
• Voice dialing;
• VGA camera (M320)

The Samsung M320 and M220 are available for $29.

Gosh, that was fast! Several weeks after its first appearance, the Samsung i8510 INNOV8 has become available from Orange UK. It still has all those features we mentioned a while ago, and is available now at Mobile.co.uk for £free on an 18 month contract, plus you'll get a spare Nokia 1650 on pay as you go with a £10 credit.

The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awarded Samsung SGH-G810 with "European Photo Phone 2008-2009". The comission liked very much both photo and phone features of Samsung SGH-G810.

The Samsung G810 has a 5 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom and Xenon flash. In addition, the G810 operates with latest digital camera features including face detection, image stabilizer, high ISO (up to 800), macro shot, panorama shot and mosaic & multi shot.

According to TmoNews, T-Mobile US subscribers will soon be getting the Samsung T919, previously known as Tocco, or Roxy. Not much info is available about this one, but we know it will support the 1700MHz WCDMA band. It remains unknown whether the phone will feature Wi-Fi and a front-facing camera.

Samsung has released a major OTA software update for its Instinct handset. It is available now, and users will be notified about the need to update when running applications.

The Samsung E200 is a new phone with an entire exterior made from bioplastics (substances extracted from corn). Both charger and the phone's packaging will also be made from recycled materials to ensure the lowest possible harm to the environment.

The E200 has a candybar form-factor, and features a 1.3Mpix camera and media playback capabilities. It should be available in Europe in September.

The Samsung L770 is now available in Russia. It has a classic Samsung design and is intended for those who are looking for a simple cell phone capable of music playback.
The unlocked version is available in black, silver, gold and pink for 7990 Roubles or about $330.
