AT&T has finally announced the upcoming launch of its new MediaFLO-powered Mobile TV service.

It is expected to be available sometime in May on two exclusive handsets, the Prada-like LG Vu and the newly announced Samsung Access.

AT&T has just announced the Samsung Access, the first phone to support the carrier's new Mobile TV service.

This is a 3G candy bar cell phone featuring a 2.3" widescreen display, dedicated TV button, stereo Bluetooth, microSD slot, external speakers, and a 1.3Mpix camera.

The phone will be released in May.

Good news for Samsung Blackjack owners.

Hackers decided that there's no point in waiting for the official and came up with their own Windows Mobile 6.1 update for Samsung BlackJack smartphone. It is still a beta version, but is proven to work just fine.

T-Mobile unveiled two new entry-level cell phones from Samsung, the SGH-T229 and SGH-T339 models.

Samsung has just released the AnyCall Haptic (SCH-W420, SPH-W4200), the top premium model in the AnyCall Series of touchscreen phones.

Its wide 3.2" display provides haptic feedback, including audio and visual effects, and has a fully customizable interface thanks to Widget and drag-and-drop functions.

Other features include DMB, a 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth 2.

Samsung Muse is a new affordable music cell phone from Alltel.

It works on EV-DO network, and features a 2Mpix camera, 64MB of onboard memory and microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth, external music controls, and GPS functionality.

The price is $89.99 after $50 rebate and 2-year service agreement.

Samsung has created a new 8Mpix CMOS chip for future high-end phones.

The module measures 28mm x 15.3mm x 8.5mm, supports up to ISO 1600 in low-light conditions, and features anti-shake, face tracking, and macro mode (up to 1 cm close).

The company expects to put the chip into production by the second half of this year.
