Samsung i7500 Galaxy is has been released on the O2 UK network, and will be available exclusively till the end of the month for free on a £45 per month tariff. It comes preloaded with Google services, such as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and Google Talk, and has the following features:
- Chipset: Qualcomm: 7200A, ARM11 528MHz + DSP 256MHz;
- 5Mpix camera with auto focus, flash LED;

Two new handsets have surfaced on Sprint rebate sheets valid through October 31st. The first is called the Samsung Interpid, which is the long awaited Ace II, which is expected to be launched on October 6th the earliest. Rumored specs include:
- Windows Mobile 6.5 OS;
- CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A and GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity;
- 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM;
- 528MHz processor;
- QWERTY keypad;
- 3Mpix camera;
- Wi-Fi;
- aGPS;
- microSDHC support;
- QVGA display
The other handset is the unannounced Samsung Moment.

Alright, first the good news: the unlocked version of the Samsung I8000 Omnia 2 is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Bad news: it's currently listed for $999.99. While there's no carrier version of the phone yet, this is the only option for those who must buy the handset disregarding the cost. If you're one of those people, go ahead and order one now.

September 8th is the day when Verizon will release two new QWERTY sliders from Samsung, called the "Rogue" and "Intensity". The lower end Intensity is a 2G handset with a 1.3Mpix camera, and not much else, while the Rogue has a 3.1" WVGA AMOLED display, 3Mpix cam with autofocus, HTML browser, and TouchWiz UI.
Both models will hit the shelves on September 8; the Rogue will cost you $199.

We have some new info regarding the upcoming Samsung Rogue U960 for Verizon. According to EngadgetMobile, the phone will be released on September 8th at the following prices:
- $99.99 after $100 rebate with 2-year contract;
- $169.99 after $100 rebate with 1-year contract;
- $419.99 full retail
Also, PhoneArena has posted a list of U960's specs, which they've received via Verizon's InfoManager system update.

It would be a nice choice if you need a simple handset with a QWERTY keyboard, but the keypad design just ruines it: the numeric keys are gathered along the left edge of the phone accompanied by a full landscape QWERTY slide. What were they thinking?
