Sprint has just unveiled the new Samsung Ace SPH-I325, or the BlackJack World Edition, which turned out to be a real surprise for us. It isn't the best phone from Samsung, but it's a good addition to the carrier's handset lineup. Features of the SPH-I325 include a 1.3Mpix camera, QWERTY keyboard, QVGA display, and microSD slot (maybe).

The device has a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard for convenient text messaging, and comes with multiple messaging applications. Samsung has developed a RFID reader chip that can be integrated into mobile devices like cell phones in the near future. The chip will download the information from RFID tags and display it on the phone's screen. The reader is very small and consumes almost no power. It will first be available as a separate device, and then will come embedded into mobile handsets.
