Softbank will launch the new Samsung 708SC cell phone sometime in early March.

The upcoming handset is a thinner version of the Samsung A727 measuring 50.4 x 112.5 x 8.4mm and weighing 73g.

The 708SC will be available in Silver, Red, Green and Blue colors and will feature a 1.

Samsung SGH-800 is a new clamshell phone, similar in design to Motorola StarTac 70/80/90/X/v3688 series handsets.

However, this one is more robust and can be taken anywhere you want. It is an excellent companion for travelers.

The SGH-800 comes with a large bright hi-res screen and shortcut keys for most frequently used functions.

Samsung M300 entry level clamshell mobile phone is now available from Bell Canada and will replace the previous A640 handset.

The M300 is slimmer, lighter and prettier than A640 and features two internal and external screens, a VGA digicam, and standard application set, including alarm clock, voice memos, calculator, tasks, and scheduler.

Verizon Wireless unveiled 4 new business smartphones for the rest of the year:

• Samsung i760: a Windows Mobile 6 based slider with both the numeric keypad and full QWERTY keyboard. Features include stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3Mpixl camera, and EV-DO data. It will be available online starting October 19 for $350 after rebate and new2-year contract.

According to Verizon Wireless, the new Samsung Juke swivel music phone will appear in retail stores and online starting October 19.

Handset's music features include 2GB of on-board memory, stereo Bluetooth, and support for a multitude of audio formats.

Juke will be available for $99 after rebate and new 2-year service agreement.

Samsung announced its two new S60-based 3G smartphones today, the SGH-i450 dual music slider and the GPS-enabled SGH-i550. These devices will be showcased at the Symbian Smartphone Show in London on October 16 and 17, 2007.

Both handsets operate on Symbian OS™ v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1, and support 3G HSDPA (3.

Samsung has introduced its new stylish SCH-W380 flip-flop phone during the KES 2007 exhibition in Korea.

This 3G handset supports HSDPA connectivity and comes with a 5Mpix camera and a 0.3Mpix cam for video conversations. It has a 240x320 TFT display and plays VOD, MOD and MP3 files.

T-Mobile started offering its first 3G handset in New York.

The carrier's 3G network is not ready yet, but we can be sure it will be up and running in some markets in the nearest future.

The phone mentioned above is the new Samsung T639, a quad-band GSM/EDGE and WCDMA 1700MHz clamshell.

Samsung and Sprint have unveiled today a new version of the UpStage phone, called the B'Phone ("B" from Beyonce).

It has the same specs and features but comes in a gold and burgundy finish, and offers some pre-loaded Beyonce video and picture content.

Features include 1.3Mpix camera, microSD slot (up to 2GB), and EV-DO data.
