Samsung presents its new 3G 5Mpix camera-phone, the G800. Its hi-tech camera comes with an auto-focus lens, supports 3x zoom and has 5.8 - 17.4 mm focus length. Among other features there is Bluetooth and USB connectivity, as well as support for HSDPA network.

Samsung announced that they are going to team up with Giorgio Armani to produce luxury electronics under this brand. The Italian designer will not only create the designs but will also actively participate in the development of new products. The negotiations between Samsung and Armani started early this year, and are now in their final stages.

The upcoming Samsung P520 touch-screen mobile phone claims to become Samsung's iPhone killer. Well, judging by its specs, it looks more like a clone rather then killer. Some manufacturers just can not seem to understand, that equipping a new device with a touch-screen isn't all that it takes to create a competitor for the iPhone. They must either build a phone with better features, or with the same set of features, but with a similarly advanced user interface, which is the main point of attraction of the Apple's handset.

Samsung has announced the upcoming release of its new SCH-B750 mobile phone with video features. Unfortunately, it will be released only in Korea. The coolest thing about this handset is that it has an integrated video editor, allowing users to add text and background music, cut videos and upload them to some video sharing websites. Samsung B750 captures MPEG4 videos with 320x240 or 325x288 pixel resolutions.

Samsung is ready to release another phone in the European market. Its SGH 730i i-mode slider handset offers all the basic features one may need, including tri-band GSM capabilities, 2" 176x220 display, 2Mpix camera, 80MB of internal memory, and a microSD slot. The first two lucky countries to get this phone are Italy and France. No word on pricing and availability yet.

The new Samsung E236 is an entry-level clamshell that is deffinitely worth a little attention. It has a nice sleek design and features a VGA camera, small dual screens with internal one having a 160x128 px resolution, touch controls and an interesting circular loudspeaker located on the phone's exterior. No pricing or availability details have been announced yet.

Samsung plans to launch soon its new GSM phone, called the SGH-G600. It was recently approved by FCC and claims to become a serious competitor to the Nokia N95. Similar to the Nokia N95, Samsung G600 comes with an integrated 5Mpix digicam. Also it has a microSD expansion slot, and includes some usual features such as media player, Bluetooth and USB interface for data sync.

We expect that the long-awaited Samsung SCH-i760 will soon become available from Verizon Wireless. There are several photos of the device displayed on the Verizon's official site. For those unfamiliar with the matter, Samsung SCH-i760 is a WM6-based smartphone with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and a standard numeric keypad with d-pad on the front.
