T-Mobile has begun showing the Samsung T729 Blast in commercials recently. The slider T729 Blast is successor of the T719 clamshell.

According to T-Mobile, Samsung T729 Blast features:

• Connectivity: GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, USB;
• Camera: 1.3 megapixel, multishot, Video Capture, Zoom;
• Music Player: MP3, AAC
  

Neither T-Mobile nor Samsung have officially announced the T729 Blast, but we can suppose the launch will start soon.

Samsung has recently released their U708 3G mobile phone. Despite that it has a slider form factor, the handset is very slim measuring just 12.1 mm thick and contains a wide range of features and functionalities.

There are rumors saying that Adidas and Samsung are working on a new sports phone. The new Adidas-branded handset will be known as the SGH-F110, and will come with a heart-rate monitor linked to the music player, a calorie counter and stepometer, and a possible voice-coach feature.

The new Samsung SGH-i570 is working under Symbian 9.1 OS. This slider smartphone features QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, HSDPA, EDGE and Bluetooth.

The phone is supplied with 160MB internal memory, but you can extend it using microSD card slot.

The SGH-i570 has 2 cameras: one of them placed at the front and is for video calls and second 2-megapixel camera can be accessed at the back when you slide up the slider phone.

DivX has recently certified the new Samsung Ultra Video SGH-F508 mobile phone making it the second Samsung DivX handset on the market.

DivX Certification allows for playback of high quality DivX videos on the phone and also guarantees that the F508 will be compatible with more than 90 million DivX Certified devices.

Samsung i550 is the company's new 3G handset with integrated GPS functionality. There is not much info about it right now – no pricing and availability details, and who will be the carrier also remains a question. And without some good photos, we can't even tell whether it is a slider or a candy bar phone. Let's just wait for a press release.

Samsung presents its new 3G 5Mpix camera-phone, the G800. Its hi-tech camera comes with an auto-focus lens, supports 3x zoom and has 5.8 - 17.4 mm focus length.

Among other features there is Bluetooth and USB connectivity, as well as support for HSDPA network.

Samsung announced that they are going to team up with Giorgio Armani to produce luxury electronics under this brand. The upcoming Samsung P520 touch-screen mobile phone claims to become Samsung's iPhone killer. Well, judging by its specs, it looks more like a clone rather then killer. Some manufacturers just can not seem to understand, that equipping a new device with a touch-screen isn't all that it takes to create a competitor for the iPhone. They must either build a phone with better features, or with the same set of features, but with a similarly advanced user interface, which is the main point of attraction of the Apple's handset.

Samsung has announced the upcoming release of its new SCH-B750 mobile phone with video features. Unfortunately, it will be released only in Korea. The coolest thing about this handset is that it has an integrated video editor, allowing users to add text and background music, cut videos and upload them to some video sharing websites.

Samsung B750 captures MPEG4 videos with 320x240 or 325x288 pixel resolutions.
