Samsung presented their three new mobile phones for Southeast Asia with fancy, stylish designs and innovative features. They are SGH-E950, SGH-E840 and SGH-J600. All models have built-in digital cameras, touch-sensitive keypads, enhanced multimedia features, Internet and email access, and expandable memory.

The new Samsung U308 cell phone for the Asia-Pacific region was introduced at the CHITEC 2007 show in Beijing, China.

The U308 will be available on the ChinaMobile network. There is very little info about it, but judging by the pictures it will feature an embedded camera and will have a sturdy metal casing for protection.

Samsung Siren SCH-a870 is a new clamshell-style camera-phone. It produces high-quality photos, is Bluetooth-compatible and features VibeTonz - a hardware/software combo, which delivers very loud sound playback.

The Siren is now available on a number of carriers.

The red version of the Samsung UpStage will appear on Monday. The Samsung UpStage is dual-sided handset combining a cell phone and a music player in a single device. This is the first phone of such kind in the U.S.
The Samsung UpStage operates on Sprint Mobile Broadband network and provides easy access to Sprint's exclusive multimedia content, including Sprint Music Store.

According to recent reports, Motorola could lose their position of second biggest mobile phone producer to Samsung Electronics.

Poor sales of high-end Motorola handsets and a possible import ban on the new RAZR 2 are the reason for that. And there you have it - Motorola's and Samsung’s market shares have almost tied.

Samsung SPH-W2400 is the new HSDPA phone with an unusual multi-twisting form factor. First it slides forward like a normal slider, but then the screen can be turned horizontally for better TV viewing. Unfortunately, W2400 is only available in Korea.

T-Mobile USA will soon start offering two new Samsung GSM mobile phones, the T729 and T419. None of these two has been officially announced.

The Samsung SGH-T729 is a slider phone, which will replace the unpopular T719 candy bar. It uses BlackBerry Connect technology and features SureType hybrid keyboard, a display with a resolution of 176x220 pixels (262k colors), and a 1.

Like T-Mobile, Alltel will also offer two Samsung phones, R200 and R500.

Samsung SCH-R200 is slim entry-level candy bar phone, which features the same design as the R510, but packs fewer features to reduce the price.

Samsung SCH-R500 is 17mm thin clamshell phone with exchangeable covers. This CDMA2000 EV-DO device features 176x220 internal display and small external one, Bluetooth, 1.

Samsung SGH-E590 is a sleek stylish compact bar phone designed by the leading industrial designer Jasper Morrison. The handset is available in two colors: noble black and snow silver and comes packed with the Bean bag tripod.

The Samsung E590 will be released in Europe, China and South East Asia in June.
