Verizon has recently released the new Samsung Rogue, a successor to the old Glyde model. It comes with a 3.1" AMOLED display, a 3Mpix camera with flash and integrated editor, microSD support up to 16GB, full HTML browsing, Microsoft Office document viewing, TouchWiz, and a full slide-out keyboard. You can get it now for $99.99 on contract.

Samsung has recently announced the availability of the Samsung Freeform via Alltel. It will not make your jaw drop, but it’s certainly a nice messaging option for the Alltel customers in the remaining markets. Specs include:

• Teal and Burgundy Color Options;
• Music Player;
• Stereo Bluetooth® Wireless Technology;

Samsung i7500 Galaxy is has been released on the O2 UK network, and will be available exclusively till the end of the month for free on a £45 per month tariff. It comes preloaded with Google services, such as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and Google Talk, and has the following features:

• Chipset: Qualcomm: 7200A, ARM11 528MHz + DSP 256MHz;
• 5Mpix camera with auto focus, flash LED;
• Display: 3.

Two new handsets have surfaced on Sprint rebate sheets valid through October 31st. The first is called the Samsung Interpid, which is the long awaited Ace II, which is expected to be launched on October 6th the earliest. Rumored specs include:

• Windows Mobile 6.5 OS;
• CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A and GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity;
• 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM;
• 528MHz processor;

The other handset is the unannounced Samsung Moment.

Alright, first the good news: the unlocked version of the Samsung I8000 Omnia 2 is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Bad news: it's currently listed for $999.99. While there's no carrier version of the phone yet, this is the only option for those who must buy the handset disregarding the cost. If you're one of those people, go ahead and order one now.

Introducing a new affordable touchscreen phone, the Samsung S3650 Corby. At an unsubsidized price of between 150-215 Euros, you'll get a cool-looking phone with some decent features, including:

• Quad-band GSM/EDGE;
• 2.8" QVGA touchscreen display;
• 2Mpix camera;
• FM Radio with RDS;
• Bluetooth;

Remember the Samsung B3310, the QWERTY slider with that bizzare vertical numeric keypad? Well, Samsung France has confirmed the phone's official launch in September. Unfortunately, pricing and the exact release date are unknown for now.

 

September 8th is the day when Verizon will release two new QWERTY sliders from Samsung, called the "Rogue" and "Intensity". The lower end Intensity is a 2G handset with a 1.3Mpix camera, and not much else, while the Rogue has a 3.1" WVGA AMOLED display, 3Mpix cam with autofocus, HTML browser, and TouchWiz UI. Both models will hit the shelves on September 8; the Rogue will cost you $199.

We have some new info regarding the upcoming Samsung Rogue U960 for Verizon. According to EngadgetMobile, the phone will be released on September 8th at the following prices:

• $99.99 after $100 rebate with 2-year contract;
• $169.99 after $100 rebate with 1-year contract;
• $419.99 full retail
