Samsung presented the SPH-P9000 Deluxe MITs, the latest in mobile convergence device. The SPH-P9000 was introduced at the Mobile WiMax Summit 2006. The SPH-P9000 is a PDA-based device using Mobile WiMax and CDMA EV-DO connectivity for wireless access to the Internet and simultaneously providing mobile phone connection for voice communication.

Samsung Korea announced about the availability of a tiny, absolutely stylish SGH-X830 phone with an incredible design.

The phone includes MP3 and Bluetooth. The phone has an interesting feature depending on how you open it you can use it as an MP3 player, or as a camera for photos or videos. If you need to access the keyboard to use the phone as it is you have to swivel the screen.

There are three new mobile phones T629, T619 and T509s announced by Samsung and T-Mobile. The phones support T-Mobile's myFaves service. This service gives users the possibility to have five photos or icons on the home screen of a myFaves-enabled phone and also have unlimited nationwide calling to those five 'Faves.

The B600 launched by Samsung is a new 10-megapixel camera phone that is 6 mm thinner and 10 g lighter than the 7-megapixel camera phone (SCH-V770) and by combining mobile TV capability in Satellite standard differs from its previous megapixel camera phones. Users can watch live TV in crisp picture through Satellite DMB function.

The B600 includes such functions as an MP3 player, business card reader, and 128 polyphonic sounds.

Samsung t509s – Plum is Samsung's updated thin t509 handset with a new color of coat which gave the phone its present name. When the Trace was launched the t509 had to go away but not for a long.

Samsung t509s includes the following features:

• AOL /Yahoo/MSN/ICQ instant messaging
• Bluetooth
• Speakerphone

Earlier this week the new myFaves calling plans were launched to which the t509s is also compatible with.

Samsung IP-830w is launched by Sprint. This dual-mode phone is based on the Samsung i730 but sports a GSM radio instead of WiFi to allow for worldwide roaming. The handset has a slide style design and a full QWERTY keyboard.

Features of the Samsung IP-830w include:

In addition to the Samsung t619, T-Mobile has launched the Samsung t719. This handset includes SureType style QWERTY keyboard. As it known, Samsung licensed this keyboard, predictive text technology and BlackBerry connect email software from RIM.

T-Mobile increased the presence of Samsung in own lineup by launching the Samsung t619 this week. The t619 is a mid-range flip phone, with thin formfactor (about the same as the RAZR V3).

T-Mobile has started shipping the Samsung Trace T519 . This handset is the thinnest cell phone currently shipping in the United States, just 0.3 inches thickness (what is a half of the thickness of Motorola's RAZR ). The Trace is very similar to the X820 , which is currently available in Europe.
