Another cool handset making its way to Canada is the Samsung Instinct. Bell Mobility will be the lucky carrier to offer the device this time (tough luck, Telus), and will sell it for $149.95 on a 3-year contract or $449.95 w/o commitment. Features remain the same as on the U.S. variant.

Bell came up with an interesting way to promote a rather uninteresting handset, the Samsung m530 music flip in our case. The phone will bear Canadian Olympic Team branding, and will be available next month for $99.95 CAD (about $99) on a 3-year plan or $299.95 CAD (about $298) w/o contract. Idnes.cz reports that Samsung is preparing yet another full touchscreen smartphone with the model number SGH-i740.
The i740 is the sucessor to the i710 model, and, according to the source, shouldn't be expensive, as it lacks such important features like support for 3G, Wi-Fi and even EDGE(!). Wow, that leaves us only with GPRS.

Verizon will be launching the new Samsung U430 phone on its network. The phone was recently approved by the FCC, is very basic, lacks any multimedia features, and appears to be the replacement for the older U410 model. It will be available for free with a contract.
