Verizon will be launching the new Samsung U430 phone on its network. The phone was recently approved by the FCC, is very basic, lacks any multimedia features, and appears to be the replacement for the older U410 model. It will be available for free with a contract.

It's better late than never, I guess. The outdated Samsung SPH-A523, also known as the Helio Mysto is now featured at the Telus website. It is available for $99 on 3 years, $149 on 2, $299 on 1 year, and $349 without contract.Some features of the A523:

Today Sprint announced they would start selling the Samsung Instinct on June 20 for just $129.99 with a 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. Cheaper than the 3G iPhone, you think? Wrong...
