The new Sanyo Katana Eclipse X is an upgrade for the previous Katana model that has been released today on Sprint. It is available in either Hypnotic Pink or Nightlife Black, and features Sprint's One Click interactive UI that allows you to easily customize your handset’s home screen the way you like it. One can also assign different lighting schemes to incoming calls, messages, and other alerts.

The new Sanyo Katana Eclipse has passed the FCC thus proving its existence. It was spotted in a Sprint roadmap two weeks ago, but was considered fake until now.
There is almost no information about it, but basically what we can say judging by the photo, it's a music-centric phone, similar in design to Katana LX. According to the roadmap, the Katana Eclipse should be launched before August 17th.

Sprint now offers two new phones from Sanyo called Pro-200 and Pro-700, which support the carrier's Push-to-talk over cellular technology.
Apart from that the two handsets also support Qualcomm’s QChat technology, Group Connect, and remote contact information management via the Sprint Mobile Sync online tool.
- The Sanyo Pro-200 has a slimmer silver-coated body and costs $49.
