If you recall, T-Mobile has recently stopped selling Motorola's Sidekick Slide smartphones because of their battery problems. Now Motorola claims it has fixed all the issues and will implement the solution in new and existing devices. So we can expect Sidekick Slide to appear on the market again next week.

T-Mobile's Sidekick Slide is now off sale until Motorola fixes a defect in the handset. The carrier has recently received a number of complains from customers whose phones turn off when the screen is slid open or closed. All Slide owners who have the same problem should contact customer support to return the device into a T-Mobile store.

The new Sidekick Slide smartphone is now available from T-Mobile and replaced the Sidekick LX. The device doesn't differ much from its predecessor with technical characteristics, but it has a nice streamline design and a low price tag of only $199 after a 2-year agreement.

T-Mobile has just announced two Sidekick phones, the LX and Slide. Both are quad-band GSM/EDGE handsets with Bluetooth connectivity, microSD slot (4GB max), 1.3Mpix cameras, and the new mobile MySpace application. The LX, manufactured by Sharp, is a successor to the Sidekick 3 featuring a 3" WQVGA screen, 128MB microSD card and camera flash.

The long-awaited Sidekick LX will be available in T-Mobile stores starting October 24th. We still have very little info on its specifications, but having a month left until the official release, we can definitely expect more details to appear in the nearest future. All we can say for now is that the Danger is a slim GSM/EDGE smartphone with a large high-resolution display and a QWERTY-style keyboard.

FCC has revealed today the new Motorola Sidekick Slide smartphone coming for T-Mobile. The device looks similar to Sidekick 3, only its screen slides up instead of spinning around to uncover the five-line QWERTY keyboard underneath. Highlights include quad-band GSM/EDGE support, Bluetooth 1.2, 1.3Mpix camera, music player, microSD slot, messaging tools, and support for T-Mobile's MyFaves.

Danger prepares to launch its new Sidekick LX on T-Mobile. We only know that the handset will feature a large bright display and will support EDGE connectivity (no 3G, unfortunately). For those interested in Sidekick , the launch will take place sometime in Q4 2007.

The upcoming Sidekick 4 cell phone will probably be released under the name Shuriken. The rumor appeared after an excel file leaked in the Web several days ago. The other possible name for the device is Sidekick LX. The phone will first become available in the US, then in Australia and later in Germany and probably in the UK.
